Big things with little cars
Big things with little cars

Let me start off by saying that despite now having 5 of them, I don’t care for sealed diecast or resin models. But I’ve justified their purchase because there was no opening diecast version available.

Let me also add that I think I’m pushing the limits when it comes to the size of my collection, so I’ve been thinking about paring it down some. One of the easiest ways is to eliminate all the duplicates and near duplicates. By duplicate I mean the same car, but in a different color. And near duplicates would be the cars that, while really different IRL, don’t look that much different in model form. Think Porsche 911 GT2 and Turbo.

So with that thought process in mind, these are the last 2 models I should be pining for:

So, once again my· wallet’s nemesis, Ottomobile Models, has opened for pre-order not one, but two models that I don’t need or want, but have to have. I already have Kyosho’s excellent BMW E61. Sure it’s not an M, but it looks 90% the same. The same could be said of that AMG Merc, of which I already have in normal form by AUTOart. So it would be absolutely idiotic of me to buy sealed models that are only slightly different from what I already have, right?

BUT JUST LOOK AT THEM!!!!
