Hi guys, I’ve not posted here in a long time because I haven’t got anything new to talk about. However, I do take a peek here from time to time and it’s so nice to see this website grow and all the beautiful cars you guys continue to have! Kudos to all of you!

I, however, am in a bit of a conundrum. I’ve completely stopped purchasing any Hot Wheels simply because their prices are unjustifiable and I don’t seem to find the models I want. I tried to keep up the hobby by collecting only Porsche 1:43 models, and while I do love them, I’m out of budget options already. 1:24 and 1:18 have long been forgotten.

I recently got the 1st issue of an F1 car collection magazine, having sought after it since it’s Senna’s car but after owning it for a couple of days, I now feel like selling it. I can’t seem to enjoy model cars anymore, and to me, I feel that any model I buy eventually is only just a paperweight.

That said, I still can’t help from ogling over awesome new models and sometimes I still nip down to flea markets to see what they have on offer.

Which brings me to this: my collection has always been small and curated with rare cars and only stuff that I like, with a large part of them having sentimental value. My parents wouldn’t let me sell them off and frankly, I do feel bad selling my models as I’ve grown attached to them. But with each passing day I feel like this isn’t a hobby I’d like to be in anymore. What do I do LaLD?
