Big things with little cars
Big things with little cars

So I had a long day yesterday. Started working at 8am, ate lunch at my desk so I could keep working. I then drove home at 4:30 to arrived home at 5:15 to pass the car to MrsZtp so she could get groceries. I started working again, from home, until 6:45. Church band practice started at 7, I arrived 30 minutes late, was at church until after 9. Came home, wife left this for me on my dresser, she knows me well.

She picked the one car that actually started to get me really interested in AWs lineup, the ‘69 Kingswood Estate in that ugly yet gorgeous color of green, or as MrsZtp calls it, poop green, :).

Excuse me, sir in the white wagon, you’re on the wrong side on the road.

The green actually looks pretty homely here, and very retro, which I like. I’m a fan of weird and awkward colors, so this is right up my alley.

If the white Kingswood was trying to pass, he’s doing it wrong.

For those of you who have been around, I’ve been wanting this car for awhile. By my math estimates, I’ve been looking for it since April 2014! Admittedly, I have seen this car in stores here and there since then, but with a tight diecast budget, I opted to get a casting I didn’t already have. MrsZtp just circumvented all of that, :). Best wife ever.

AW, we need more wagon castings. Signed, everyone.

Weirdly enough, St Patrick’s day is green too, which is also my birthday, so this car has awesome timing and it’s perfect for Wagon Wednesday. I’m just doing everything right today!

Here it is, next to a very fair lady, :).
