I found myself in Target this afternoon, and like most trips to Target, I found myself disappointed as I left the Hot Wheels pegs. The cars there were still left overs from several cases ago, and it looked like it hadn’t been touched since the last time I was there a month ago.

Then a Matchbox 4c caught my eye. I’ve been trying to keep my collection exclusively Hot Wheels (mostly for budget reasons) but you know what? I’m really sick of waiting around for new stuff to arrive.

Aside from the exotic 5-pack, I don’t have very many modern Matchbox cars. The Alfa 4c is just too cool to leave behind.

I also grabbed the new red 1M. I regret passing on the orange and blue models, but the red Bimmer pairs nicely with the red Z8 from the 5-pack!
