Here it is, guys. One of the holy grails in my collection.
This incredibly rare, 2009 Mercedes G55 AMG Facelift by AutoArt.
Mercedes performance division, AMG, developed a rare wagon, which pretty much lives inside its own category for being both a powerful off-roader, and a luxury boat on the road. With it's 5.5L V8 developing 507 hp, no one can deny the sheer amount of power that comes with this beauty. Although, this luxury and powerful wagon does come with a hefty price, at 121,618 Euros.
Onto the model, once again, AutoArt did a incredible job. The model is widely considered to be one of the hardest 1/18 AMGs to find, along with the S63 AMG. If you EVER find one, do not hesitate to grab it once you have the chance. About a year ago, i saw one on Ebay in this exact same silver, that went for $400.
(Again, it's been snowing in Dallas today, so i took the opportunity to get some outdoor shots)
(if you cringed a bit while look at this, don't worry. I wiped and cleaned it right away afterwards)
Onto the interior, AutoArt mimicked the leather and wood components perfectly. You can't really tell from the photos, but every single knob and button, is replicated faithfully. Hell, they even went in and added fake interior creases on the seats and door panels. Also they've included a fire extinguisher under the front passenger seat. Well done AutoArt!!
If i had to give a rating on the interior, it'll be a easy 9/10.
Like the interior, the engine bay is well produced. Every wire and bits are there, as you can tell. I'm not gonna go into much detail, but seriously. Just look at it!
Hell, even the box is worth a good chunk.
Like all AutoArt Millenniums, it demands a pretty hefty price. However, not nearly as much as their signature series. Reason i bought this model 5 years ago, was because i wanted to reward myself for getting a good score on my SAT (haha). AT 147.55, it equates to a little below $160.00.
However, if you consider how much this model goes for nowadays, it's definitely a steal.
Thank you for taking your time to check this out!
Here's a few photo dumps i took outside:
