Micro Monday: GMC S-15 (My favorite Micro Machine)

Today I decided to show you all my personal favorite Micro Machine. It’s a late 80's GMC S-15 extended cab. I always loved these trucks in real life, and this is one of the best detailed and best proportioned Micro Machines they made, in my opinion. I don’t think they made too many of these, although a quick search of eBay shows that they made a few other versions, this one is far and away the best. I put a looooooot of miles on this pickemup truck, but because it was my favorite I always took care of it.

So the reason I took the picture of the camper, is this GMC is the first diecast I ever customized. I loved this truck so much, that when I got that really cool camper trailer, I decided the GMC needed to tow it. Catch was, it’s trailer hitch was a little too small. So, 13 year old me got out the cordless drill I’d just bought with my birthday money, and drilled it out just a little bit.
