Micro Monday: Tonka Tinys

I’m taking a brief break from featuring the requests from my display case ... because I knocked it over and dumped it into a big pile on my desk and I’m really ticked off at myself.

No worries, I have some other micro fodder. Vdubyajohn told me about Tonka’s new Tiny line a while ago. I’ve been on the lookout ever since for them, and I finally found them in blind packs at TRU yesterday. The big one picked out one for herself and one for her sister. We were all excited to open them. The packaging is really great. They come sealed in little garages that can be linked and stacked together.

The big one got this sweet dump truck. The bed tips up, which is a nice little detail.

The little one got this rad fire truck. The ladder does go up, but it doesn’t rotate.

I’m impressed with them, and more importantly the girls both love them. I don’t think I’m going to collect any for myself, but I’m definitely going to be buying more for them. They’re great little toys. Oh, the price is a little high at $2.99 each, but I think they’re worth it for something cool and different.
