Welcome to Military Monday where we show you military vehicles used from both sides of the conflict. Here is another Military die cast release by Johnny Lightning from their Greatest Generation series.
The WWII Dodge Wc54 was a WC series 4×4 light truck developed during World War II by Dodge. It served as the main ambulance used by the US Army from 1942 to 1945, with some used as late as 1953 during the Korean War by the U.S. Army Medical Corps, and others serving as late as the 1960s in the armies of some European countries.
As seen on my previous post, this diorama came with another Greatest Generation series and can be used with other military vehicle. Johnny Lightning release this model in both version A and B with version A looking fresh off the pier while version B includes weathering like the bullet holes on this.
Here you can see that it can be displayed in several different positions showing it being ambush by the enemy.
I was glad to buy both versions and you can even come up with pictures showing before and after. Although the scale may not be 1/64 accurate, the detail certainly gets an A from me.
