I have a habit of buying a nice 1/43 if I see it in front of me whenever I go to a dealership and like it.
This model is certainly no exception. I went to my local Porsche dealership to check out the 991.2 Speedsters and 992s they received throughout the course of the week. I decided to go to the parts department and boutique to see if they had any new models, which they rarely do. I saw this 935 sitting behind the counter and asked about it. Although they go for like $150 online, I was quoted $100 with taxes. I bought it within a minute of that.
Now that I’m home and am bored of working on spreadsheets, I’ve decided to show you guys the first 1/43 racing car I’ve owned. I’m aware it’s not homologated, but this is about as close as you’ll get to seeing me own a race car at this scale.
I would make this review longer, but the pictures speak for themselves. It’s easily the most intricate and well-detailed 1/43 I’ve bought to date.
It just goes to show that some impulse purchases are well worth it.
I couldn’t be happier with this thing.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Go get one while you can. I have the feeling these will be much more expensive in the near future.
