It's Monday, the day we wish passes quickly, why not make it pass even quicker with an iconic Mopar muscle car? Today's MoPar Monday, I bring to you this bright lime green 1969 Dodge Charger from the 2010 Hot Wheels Garage series.
This casting first appeared as 2004 First Edition and has since been popular among collectors and is till being released today. Being the MoPar addict that I am, I could not help but own a few variations of this.
From what I saw from the 2014 release from the '69 Dodge Charger, it loses its opening hoods. That gives me a sad, but that certainly ups the collection value of those with opening hoods.
While being released in their premium series with Real Riders and special paint, not even Hot Wheels can get the tampos lined up properly. Zooming in with my camera just makes the sloppiness look worse. :\
At least they do up the tail lights, and it's pretty well done. Plus it boasts of having a Hemi under the hood, I guess this isn't leaving my collection any time soon.
Unrelated to LaLD but this lime green charger reminds of an actual one that got involved in a botched insurance repair by a rather popular car show. Makes me ashamed to think that I actually liked watching it, now it's like the several dozen that I'm eager to ignore.
I hope that people from the show fess up and do it right, giving what the car deserves. But that's beyond my control, I can only give you gratuitous amount of pictures. Let's look at Mopars and be happy!
I know Muscle Monday is in effect, even more you should...
