I was a huge fan of CART in the 90's to early 2000's. It was the best top level open wheel racing in America. Unfortunately poor marketing and no big feature race, like the IRL’s Indy 500, led to the demise of the series. I met several of the drivers in 2000 during a trip to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The following year I attended a Team Rahal event at a Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant in Columbus Ohio. There I got to meet Bobby Rahal, Max Pappis, and Kenny Brack.
This 1/18 Action die cast of Bracks car is nicely detailed, although the engine cover is not removable.
The decals are crisp and clear as well as perfectly laid out for a speedway car.
I had mine autographed by both Brack and Rahal before watching Brack take the stage and play guitar with a band made up of CART drivers, mechanics, and pit crew members.
