I know we’re in the middle of Rennsport Reunion, but thought I’d share my Sunday hawl..which honestly went from 0 to 1,000 real fast.

I was out and about doing some proper Hotwheels hunting Sunday morning. With work and life, haven’t been able to do so as much anymore.. However, as I was about to head home, I drove past a store titled “Hobbytown USA”. To my defense, I did not know this store existed until our resident samanosuke817 told me.

I was hoping to find the latest ‘Circuit Legends’ set, specifically the 787B. Instead, I found a different 787B... and a larger one at that.

I have found a holy grail of mine. Years ago, I had the opportunity to purchase one of these for a more-than-reasonable price.. however, I passed on it at the time. One of my many regrets in this hobby.

This isn’t just any AutoArt 787B... it’s a mint in box AutoArt LeMans Winner 1991 Weidler/Herbert/Gachot #55 version that came with the winning trophy. This version’s actually more sought after than the ‘normal’ AutoArt Signature 787B.

I was talking to the store owner about model cars and was able to get this for a rather spectacular disclosed price. Let’s just say it wasn’t far off from the original $200 it went for.

Now I won’t do a in depth review as I’m sure Enginerrrrrrrrr’s post will most definitely suffice.

Now continue on with your Rennsport Reunion! I don’t have enough Porsches within my stable to join in haha...

I did notice that my version came with a slight error where there’s no hole for the metal wires on the left side.
