My wheels have arrived. Some might think that the Silhouette is a fantasy cast. It is not. Bill Cushenbery built the Silhouette years before Hot Wheels made their first car.

It’s axles are still a bit bent. They were totally jacked up. I’ll get all 4 wheels on the ground eventually.

I keep forgetting to paint that brake light on. It’s very humid today. There won’t be any painting going on til the humidity drops.

The wheels were made by Brightvision. I imagine the ones from redlineshop.com have better quality control. Here’s the only video I could find of the 1/1

Apparently it was stolen in the late 60s and never seen again. Rumor has it someone was mad at Bill and buried the car in a junkyard. (video posted on youtube by Paul Burke)
