Big things with little cars

My winter break, summarized. (Incoming Lego photodump)

After two glorious weeks off, on Monday I have to go back to reality and break the spirit of the young teach the children drawing and building skills. It’s been very cold here in Chicagaoland, so for the most part I’ve stayed inside and built Lego. I helped my daughters with several of their sets, which launched an uncontrollable urge to finally rebuild my old Lego garages. This summer I told the history and showed you a bunch of the vehicles I made between middle school and grad school.

I finally rebuilt the garages over break, albeit in a cleaner manner than they were originally built. They never were color coordinated very well, just build of whatever colors I had laying about. Since this time I had all my pieces disassembled, I was able to do nicer versions of them.

There’s a few sets mixed in here and there, some stock and some modified, but most of it all is my own design. And with that, I’m just going to dump all the pics without comment. I hope you enjoy them. Feel free to ask questions.

The bridge crane spans the entire shop. I’m quite proud of that feature.
