In the turn of the century "2000" New Bright made some insanely huge RC cars with lots and lots of detail. How ever their motors are junk :P

I remember they made these huge RC cars from a VW Beetle, PT Cruiser, SSR, Escalades with speakers, even found out they made a Wrangler Unlimited.

I have the 2001 Chevrolet Avalanche. It was the best Christmas present I ever got, well one of them :P I was blown away by the size and it used the new sharper Chevy styling.

Barn find! It's been sitting there for at least 6 years or more since I last drove it.

All cleaned up, new batterys, original 7.2V still good, but sadly the steering motor isn't working. Not sure if it needs a good cleaning or the motor is bad. :(

No legroom, but still can fit some stuff back there.

Door is well made, but hinge is wobbly. Has a spring clip that keeps the doors from opening easily.

Why they put the signal lights where the reverse lights are?

If I can't get the steering fixed, then I'll probably scrap the electronics and tires. I definably want the body. Seen many people make RC rock crawlers using New Bright bodys, so this would be an excellent project.
