Although you might not be aware, the 2019 Nuremberg Toy Fair was last week (January 29 to February 2), which is why many upcoming models from various manufacturers have been unveiled. Schuco has revealed the 2019 New Models Catalogue, showing a number of interesting releases slated for later this year.

Among 1:18 diecast, there will be a 1901 Mercedes 35 hp, the first Mercedes, and unusual in that it was designed as a car, rather than modified from a carriage. There will also be a recolour of the Porsche 934 RSR and a new closed-cab Unimog 401.

Highlights in 1:18 resin include the Porsche 356 Gmünd coupe, the aluminum-bodied Austrian-built early models, before production moved back to Stuttgart with steel bodies. Also announced are the BMW M8 coupe, Glas 3000 V8, a Citroën SM wagon (previously in 1:43 resin), a Volkswagen T1 with a housing estate miniature in the back, and a Volkswagen T1 tractor unit and car trailer, of a style used by Continental Motors in the U.S.

New to the 1:43 diecast lineup are a Porsche 911 S with skis, a Barkas carrying a Schwalbe scooter, a Mercedes-Benz Lo 2750 racing support truck, and a Tatra dump truck and crane truck, among others.

The Porsche 356 Gmünd coupe will also be available in 1:43 resin, along with a Gmünd cabriolet, the Volkswagen T1 with a housing estate miniature in the back, and a couple of BMW 2002 cabriolet conversions.

New in 1:64, LaLD’s most popular scale, are a Jaguar E-Type and a Lanz Bulldog tractor. There’s also a Citroën 2CV 007 edition, a Feuerwehr version of the Unimog U406, and various recolours.

In 1:87 will be a new cast of the Mercedes-Benz G-class, plus various recolours.

Additionally, Schuco will make its first forays into 1:12 resin, with the Harold & Maude E-Type hearse and the Mercedes-AMG Vision Gran Turismo.
