I’ve been talking to them on a private FB message, they said this about damaged products when I mentioned my Ram 1500 was also damaged
Thank you for providing us with the address. And I am very sorry to hear about your other broken item. Normally what can happen is that they are damaged in shipping or at the retail stores. What we can recommend is taking them back to the retail store they were purchased at (or gifted from) and return/exchange based on the store’s policy. Would that be something you would be able to do to ensure you get a model that is not broken?
For the record, I didn’t ask them to replace the Ram, I said, “a heads up, some of your product is getting damaged”. And I never accused them of QC problems, i know the QC problem IS there...but putting them on the defensive would be a horrible idea, especially when I just wanted a fix for the broken H&T that had no hitch.
I also mentioned that their products are getting damaged quite a lot. They responded with:
I’m sorry to hear that Josh, we will pass along that message to our production and shipment teams. We do not have a direct channel for suggestions but we do love to hear what our customers are looking for in terms of future models. If you have any other questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out again!
Oh yeah, I asked where was a good place to suggest new castings, :p. Anyways, they know now, which is a improvement over us complaining about it.
Greenlight is a small time company growing fast. They have a lot of variety in their products, which is awesome. We do need to support them, but they need feedback to improve. And not just any feedback, useful feedback that doesn’t criticize them. If you criticize their product, they are just going to get defensive. That won’t help either party.
Happy diecasting everybody.
