So uhhhh Hi guys. I realized that it was about this time last year that I had begun collecting diecast stuff again. So I thought maybe we could go for a walk down memory lane? Well see I joined Oppo and noticed people posting up Hot Wheels. I had a lot of HW as a kid and figured this could be a good place to ditch a few of them honestly. Then I saw people posting some really cool stuff, like Datsun 240s and Mazda RX-7s. So I wanted to find these models too!

Here's my first HW post from the Oppo days. I tried to sell them back then, till Dinger showed me the HWEP program:

Then one day when I first started my job as a cashier, I looked at some of the stores HW offerings on my way out, I ended up buying a lot that day and so began my desire to collect.

I did my weekly posts for a while and made a few small hawls as well, nothing notable though. but then LALD was born from OPPO. I began trading like crazy and buying doubles of a lot of cars to trade away. This backfired a lot and left me with a lot of doubles though. So I cut back and tried to just stick with only JDM models. My first Treasure Hunt was actually an RX-7!

I traded later on for a silver Subaru Impreza hatch, which also turned out to be a TH!

But sticking to JDM fell apart as I found more police cars from my childhood collection. I really liked them and started adding more. I'm up to about 35 police vehicles from HW/MBX now.

But even that's not enough now and I kinda just buy whatever HW and MBX I like. This hearse is a personal favorite.

I even bought another TH car just the other day, which brings me to 3 regular THs now!

Cars that look good on card have been getting hung on my shelf. Just started this habit yesterday.

And here's some random cars I've added throughout the year.

If it weren't for LaLD and Oppo, I probably wouldn't be collecting. Thanks for being rad guys!
