Organization 101

I was long overdue for a restructuring of my 48 car cases. I consolidated them, putting Hot Wheels together, etc. I essentially defragmented my 1:64 loose collection!

The first lot was easy. The farthest three rows are all my loose Hot Wheels, not counting the next HW case that I just started (that’s 27 cases x 48, or 1296 HW). The next two rows are Matchbox, not counting the Majorette case freestanding in front of the fifth row. The rest are consolidated cases of Zee Toys, Yat Ming, and others, simply waiting for their brethren.

What’s really tough is sorting through the rest of the smaller makes, Maisto, MC Toy, Johnny Lightning, Motor Max, Road Champs, Siku, Auto World, Tomica, Summer and more.

Standing by are my carded examples and case one of my 1:18 motorcycles.

After that is case two of 1:18 motos plus my boxed diecast, mostly larger scale stuff.

My trade pile in the blue bin sits atop my loose larger scale tote, which I’m also sorting as we speak.

I’m gonna reshoot my trade bin for you guys (and RacinJason!) to peer at once I’m done.

As always friends and fellow collectors, thanks for reading!
