This wagon has been upgraded with custom suspension and 20" steel wheels. However the perfect patina on the body hasn’t been touched.
I decided to try a new technique to replicate a car with severely weathered paint. The body was done by stripping the body, brushing on a mix of rust and black, then dry-brushing on the blue. Lastly it was sprayed with matte clear.
Two HW ‘56 Ford pickups gave up their front wheels, which were painted a matching blue to the body.
