So, I recently received word that I was the lucky recipient of a rad present from our resident master HW Porsche 356 customizer. He told me to check my mail on Monday of this week (yes I’ve been holding out on you all week) and when I checked my mailbox, sure enough, HW branded box sat there nice and pretty with a VDH label, ready to reveal its Bounty.

I pulled the tissue paper (and oddly cool German plastic comic bag?) out of the way to find a bubble wrapped bag around a Burgundy cast I didn’t recognize right away. You can imagine the weird noises I made when I discovered this in the bubble wrap:

So I did a little shoot. I apologize for the picture quality. Terrible lighting and I didn’t clean the cars before I shot. I’ll get some better ones soon, I was just too excited.

Notice the difference in rear deck height of the last pic. The proportion difference is so interesting. What a master work I now have from a true craftsman.

Looks like someone wanted to take the Plymouth home with them for a resto.

This is just one more reason this site has the best people. Thanks Philip for being such a good dude, this car has found a great home. I owe ya one!
