Happy Tuesday, everybody!
As I've been more and more intrigued by the idea of creating my own custom Hot Wheels (and finally getting into advanced model-building), I started thinking about the photography aspect of our hobby/obsession. So far, Thunderface has my favorite display area with his road sign, but I've seen a lot of very well-done, professional-looking backdrops on here.
More to the point, have any of you tried to create custom, scaled photography environments? This is essentially what I'm referring to (great article, for those of you who haven't read it):
I'm not necessarily as interested in the outdoor backdrops and forced-perspective, as I am with the scaled surroundings—See below. Have any of you attempted something of this skill level? And if so, how did it turn out? What problems did you encounter?
