I had initially planned to write and upload this in time for French Friday but things didn’t really turn out as they were supposed to.

Either way all the stuff I shared about in the past week has been leading up to this. I present to you,

The Citroën Xsara WRC. This model is a little bit different as it’s not produced by any of the larger, more well established brands, but made as part of a line of cars called “High Speed”.

Each car comes with a display stand complete with a clear case which I chose not to show in this picture.

Last Sunday when I wrote about the Datsun 240z, I mentioned in the comments how most cars look like rally cars that aren’t fully kitted out for the road.

On the other hand, when I wrote about the Subaru Impreza, I talked about how it looked like a rally car but the lack of logos made it look not quite ready for rally use.

This model took the best of both worlds, placed it in a bag and shook it up, Realistic sponsorship logos to a fairly accurate representation of the rally car. This is the reason I took a hard stance against the previous cars I showed, they weren’t bad models, it’s just that this is far better.

I suppose this concludes rally week as a whole for me. Though I would like to have taken time to talk about other models such as the Lancia Stratos I showed off or some of the other offerings by Tomica, time was not on my side.

Perhaps themed weeks should be reserved for the holidays when I have the entire week to write, but with so much to talk about, I may very well revisit rallying in the future.
