Here is the recreation of the Porsche 935 driven by Henri Pescarolo in hopes of creating a wind break for French bicyclist Jean-Claude Rudé as he attempted to reach 150mph on his bicycle. The original article is here, to prove it really existed!

The Porsche’s engine was starved of air. Two tubes, connected to vents on the tunnel wall, directed cool air into the engine compartment.

The exhaust was redirected out behind the rear wheels, rather than the center of the rear. Rudé would place his front wheel on the roller as they got up to speed.

I will probably redo the paint on the taillights. Most of the main work is done, but the details just aren’t where I want them yet.
