Rainy day detail work

What else to do on a rainy Saturday evening but to work on diecast?

First is this Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera WRX STI, with details added and the atrocious pizza-pie style wheels swapped out. Blue and gold, not just for Subies.

Next is this shapely Greenwood Corvette. While doing the wheelswap I discovered that it lost its rollcage. So an interior piece from an earlier release was put inside this one.

Finally got to work on this 510 Wagon. Detailing the front was a huge pain in the behind. Tomica wheels were used again.

Another Datsun... er, Nissan, wheel swapped. Like the ‘Vette, this also had no rollcage.

The Skyline with its happy wheel donor, the $thunt Gangster Grin, which was de tampo’ed, and its grille and headlights painted.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to “Bell Pepper,” the red Escort RS.

Finally, an update on my “Flying Mustard” Ford GT40: painting the gaps between the spokes. Looks way better than before, right?
