Up next are five more customs recently finished. I did my favorite casting the 62 Chevy, an A100, a Fairlady 2000, a Porsche 934 RSR and finally a 65 Impala.
Custom 62 Chevy was based in Orion Silver and then coated with Kandy Organic Green. I then shot a thin (or as thin as could be since these flakes are a tad large for the models) layer of Algae Flake from Tropical Glitz. Added White for accents (which I am now wishing I hadnt).
Dodge A100 based in Sunset Pearl. Added a coat or Sunrise flake and light brown accents. Lots of shaving with dremel on base to get wheels in. These are VDUB wheels from JADA.
Fairlady 2000 based in Orion Silver and coated in Kandy Apple Red. White highlights and full details inside. Fun casting to work on. (added to many connection points for fenders, oops)
My favorite of the batch. Porsche 934 Turbo RSR in Oriental Blue. Black trim, fully detailed and added some M2 racing wheels. Look awesome on this model. Made a quick exhaust and then it was out on the track.
My 65 Impala. I like it more than I thought I would. Its a very photogenic car. Love the lines in darkness. Based it in LimeGold Pearl and then faded Black/Gold from bottom up. Did an ok job, will get better. For some reason I still could not figure out the casting would not sit right once done...ill have to return and remedy this.
Thanks for looking guys. Here is whats on my table now...Im great with my phone camera.... The willys is getting Lime Green and Yellow. The Morgan Im not sure on yet. The Jag is receiving a titanium accent and the Hako is getting black. The Porsche is going red and yellow accents (mock racing livery).
