Revenge of the Toyline II - Custom Transformers

This edition is mostly toys from the later part of the Revenge of the Fallen line, as well as the 2010 line, which is mostly redecos of ROTF figures. Some of them are new characters, others are legacy guys who didn't get a new form released in C.H.U.G.-RTS.

Ransack's Flying Circus

Ransack was released as part of the ROTF line, though he didn't appear in the movie. He did show up in the novelization (and was quickly squashed by Jetfire) and a couple comics though. I repainted his arms, legs, landing gear and bracing Burnt Umber, then drybrushed the first two silver. I also redid the red markings on his tail, and his prop and spinner.

Divebomb is a repaint of Ransack, inspired by Manfred von Richtofen's Foker Dr.I. I painted his arms black, then drybrushed them silver; I also touched up the white markings on his tail, nose, and spinner, then painted his prop brown.

Blue Max would have been another repaint of Ransack, but was canceled before release. His control art was completed though, so I decided to run with it. I took a Ransack apart, painted the wing uppers Dark Sea Blue, and the lowers Insignia Blue. The tail was painted white, then I added black stripes with some spare stickers. His fuselage is Light Ghost Gray, with Gray splotches. I also did a flat black glare panel on his forward fuselage and spinner, and did his arms, legs, and landing gear in black as well, with silver drybrushing on his arms and legs.

Großkreuz (Grand Cross) is painted as the Abatros D.III Hermann Göring flew during WWI. Lotta work on this one.

Pipes

Blowpipe was a repaint of Dropkick from the first movie, and was intended to be a homage to G1 Pipes. I decided to do a bit of work on the figure & treat him as CHUG Pipes. Painted his arms and legs steel, then did a little drybrushing on his torso; I also touched up his grill. I completely rebuilt the weapon hidden in the truck's bed, removing the pincers and replacing them with Gatling guns and his signature exhaust pipes.

Ground Pounder

Ground Pounder is a custom repaint of 2010 Fallback, who is himself a redeco of ROTF Brawn. Redid his whole alt-mode in tan, then stippled with rust, green and sand. I also painted his bull-bar and other bars black, step bar and rims in steel, and detailed his running and tail lights. Redid his glass in purple too, since I was switching him to a 'Con. Painted his arms and legs with black, brown and tan, then did the same for his torso. I wanted to really arm this one to the teeth, so I tossed the pistols he came with in favor of a double-barreled blaster, with underslung chainsword, and a grenade launcher, from Kotobukiya's MSG MW13 and MW22 kits respectively.

Frame Rail

Frame Rail is kind of based on Downshift, a canceled repaint of 2010 Hubcap. Did a flat black repaint on the car mode, with steel side pipes, and chrome grill and bumpers. I then added flame decals. Robot mode is mostly steel and red, with some rust details on his gauntlets and feet. I rather like the red "mohawk" I gave him, though he seems a bit ashamed of it.
