Today, we have this bronze first-generation Civic. This one came up in a conversation today so I figured I’d dig it out for a quick review.

This one comes with a box and rides on early wheels. This one has 1974 printed on the base and that is believable. So this piece is 42 years old..

I acquired the car loose, but then a few years later, I acquired a later car in orange and with newer wheels and a box. This gold version was in better condition than the orange car, so I matched the loose gold to the box for storage purposes, and the orange car is on my Honda diorama.

All-around, this is a nicely moulded piece with a lot of good detailing, especially the grille.

I particularly like the detail on the rear hatch, which has “HONDA” spelt out individually.

Overall, a great piece to have. I have 3 of these specimens already!
