[REVIEW] Tomica Porsche 930 Turbo

Tomica time again, it never comes soon enough. Today we examine a classic in the old F-series, the Porsche 930 Turbo. This is F1, introduced to the range in 1979 - 1:61 scale. This is a very well crafted casting - rounded cars like the Beetle, 911, and 928 are hard to proportion correctly in small scale - but Tomica did right with this, fantastic for something of its era, size and original price point. The "racing" wheels also fit this perfectly. I mean, just look at it:

It's really just goodness all the way around, I don't know if it could really be improved:

As to be expected, an accurately spoked steering wheel, and interior:

Just a little undercarriage detail, as typical for the era:

A real gem. I think this might have been made in a couple other colors, but silver suits it best. This model is a shining example of what makes vintage Tomica so admired and collected.
