Road Champs Hawl

After customizing that mail truck, I decided to head back to the Antique mall I got it from and pick up this RoC Soda Truck....err...International truck.

I figured that since the custom for the mail truck turned out so nicely, and that I needed longer vehicles for the diorama, why not try customizing another RoC?

First thing that needs to go is the wheels. It was a literal headache to get the wheels off of the GL donor car I used last time, so I’m thinking another brand for the tires. I looked at M2 cars last night online, and there are some good sacrifices/candidates. Also, these wheels are the exact size of the GL Ram 1500 tires, and bigger than the stock mail truck tires....so that was mocking.

Weirdly, there is no places for the tail lights or turn signals. That was really strange to me... unless I’m missing something obvious. Am I guys?

The front. Obviously I’m going to color in the headlights, but that definitely won’t be enough. I’m thinking of getting a black paint marker, and possibly filling in between the grooves of the grill.

Majestically, the whole casting screws together. Thank you RoC!!!! The whole truck is in three major parts; base, cab, bed unit.

Here’s a neat thing, both sides have a single opening compartment.

It’s a neat casting that is lacking in a lot of detail, but that's why I got it. I got a project to work on, :).
