I had to practice my outdoor shooting skills for some, ah, upcoming events. So I took a little Hot Wheels Toyota doors outside to practice shooting in the very harsh sunlight we have at the moment. Surprisingly challenging.

This is a fourth generation HiLux, as made from 1983 to 1988 - and pretty much the generation that gave them the reputation for being unbreakable. Around here, they were (and to a point still are) a very common sight. The beige colour and oh-so 80s side graphics are well captured on this Hot Wheels model.

The big wheels look was a common mod, so even if it is not factory standard, it does not bother me. All of that chrome is a bit much though, especially around the front.

Well, that’s it for this week’s edition of SatUTErday - enjoy the weekend!
