You would probably get a better commentary from my wife, who would have to use both hands to count how many times I said: “Wow, look at this! This is so awesome!” My Secret Super was LaLD’s beloved Spridget. I couldn’t be happier with this collection. All of the Lesneys are in waaay better condition than the ones in my collection. The Lincoln is amazing. The Jeep fills a void that has been open way too long (I never could find that one).
All of these cars are epic levels of awesome. The Matchbox White Heat dragster is one that I had as a Kid. So many great memories with that. The JL Olds Cutlass is superb. My wife loves it as well (detailed engine and all). Also included are the elusive Ford Escort in Blue! I had only been able to snag the White one. The Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder with amazing blue speckle-paint is all-wheel-driving into my heart. The VW concept is a neat oddity, and an amazing feat that I have never seen one before. I like to think of myself as a walking automotive encyclopedia... So, surprises like that are pretty big. We cannot overlook the Caddy Hearse (Frosty, cover your eyes). The hearse is heavy and super detailed. It also comes with the box and will get a proper full review here on LaLD.
Last, but certainly not least, included with this group is a Saab 93 that is by-far my favorite. I kid you not, I was just on eBay last week wondering if there were any good diecast Saabs available. I have always wanted a nice Saab because I respect the Saab heritage so much. The level of detail on this car is incredible. Much like the Caddy, this one will definitely get a full photo shoot and review. I am soooo in Love. <3 <3 <3
Thank you very much Spridget. You totally made my holiday! I am excited to have these cars in my collection.
