I was hunting for the Shelby GR-1 to add to my concept collection. Carnage was kind enough to trade with me to get one fast and close the hunt.
I wasn't really a big fan of the paint scheme, cream and brown with orange interior, so I decided to do it over.
The interior was resprayed in gloss black while the brown underbody was sprayed metallic silver.
The Pine Sol took a really long time to strip this casting, I'm not sure why. I thought about just clearing it and calling it a day, but then it wouldn't match the underbody.
I may or may not have bent the rear axel trying to pop it back into place, so it's got a stancenation vibe going on...
Blue tape nose one, +50 aero HP!
All done, pretty simple.
