As the year draws to a close, fellow diecasters in Singapore decided to meet up last Saturday at Marina Bay Sands for a grand photoshoot, with "High Octane" as the theme. Unfortunately, a sudden downpour rained on our parade (sorry), forcing us to carry on our activity indoors. All was well, though, and here are some of the event highlights!
A colourful selection of Aventadors!
First Lamborghini I fell in love with. She still looks amazing!
The LP700-4 with its wing up.
Calsonic IMPUL GT-R - Nismo Skyline GT-R Z-Tune
An LP670-4 SV with a decal of the Singapore GP track layout.
Resin model of the Liberty Walk 458. So close to scraping the ground with its ultra low height.
I am not a huge fan of this particular Liberty Walk creation, but this scale model has captured its essence perfectly!
The plate says it all.
Another resin model, this time the E39 M5 by OttoMobile. Beautifully crafted, and substantial in weight.
Hot Wheels Elite 458 Scuderia.
Look at the fine mesh grille and carbon fibre panels! Very detailed indeed.
The Porsche 918 Spyder Concept.
Carrera GT and its successor, the 918 Spyder.
Exoto Shelby Daytona coupe. Surprisingly hefty car!
Lovely engine detail.
Daytona Coupe and the GT500 Super Snake.
Clean rear-end of the Shelby.
The almighty Godzilla, complete with exact plates as the 1:1 scale press car.
Bayside Blue, the perfect colour for this R34 track monster.
Super GT (-R).
The Stig having some fun on the spoiler.
Our line-up before the shoot began...
All in all, an excellent day spent with the members and the cars. I look forward to future meets in 2015!
