Much anticipated, and finally got it. Tomica showered collectors with a range of  Skylines for July, and this is probably the most awaited one.

As usual, Tomica Premium does not disappoint. And there is an obvious pairing with another earlier TP release.

Unfortunately I don’t have (I never bothered to buy, lol) the HW version for a comparison, but I guess it is a very easy win for the TP.

Japanese manufacturers took pride in slapping the TURBO sticker everywhere back in the ‘80s. These are much more generic than the Mitsubishi Starion’s seatbelt prints though.

Sadly though, there is one small nag. The rear spoiler is plastic, and much like the HW 787B, it is crooked. Hope it is a problem specific only to mine. Nothing major to complain about, apart from that and the usual wheel woes endemic to TP. No opening components, and I am so glad about it.

And now the wait begins for the next fleet of TPs to really grab; the F40 and the lot.
