I’ve shown an edition of Lamborghini’s first MR-layout Supercar before. And even this spiced-up Capo di tutti Capi edition came by before on LaLD. SN210 showed us a 1/18 Kyosho (although that was an SVR, which technically isn’t a Jota but let’s not go there) and Craig showed us a purple Kyosho 1/64. A Jota should be orange though ;-)
But no need to once again tell the tale of Bob Wallace’s creation, I suggest you start with SN210's piece if you want to know more. But why was it called Jota in the first place?
Bob created this racer conform to the FIA’s Appendix J regulations. And “Jota” is how the Spanish pronounce the “J”. And no need to explain that historical bond with Spain knowing Lamborghini’s history with naming cars after Spanish fighting bulls.
This is another 1/64 Kyosho. I was extremely lucky to find this in a box filled with surprises I got from Utah, from Signore Tredici. That really was an amazing box, you might remember it from this post or that one.
As it is Sunday I’ll just end this post with some shots of this incredible 1/64. Grazie Mille Signore Tredici! You couldn’t have gotten me a nicer color on this one and every time I see it it reminds me what special place LaLD actually is!
