This post is a short “thank you very much” to my fellow Dutchie abroad Philipilihp (and the Bell King but that’s below). Because not only did he make me some amazing customs, he also has been a point of logistics for me recently. That all started when Diecast Select announced they were closing their webshop and were gonna sell with quite the discount. Living in Europe didn’t make it entirely worth the while for me though but as Philip was gonna send me my customs anyway I asked him if he’d be so kind to forward ‘m to me - as shipping within the US was free. I’m very glad he agreed to do so.

Because I never saw TSMs and Bizarres this cheap. And their usual price ain’t cheap for a reason, as they are awesome replications of epic cars. Then I saw some stuff at wheel collectors on ebay. They still had the R5 Turbo from the Boulevard Series (they haven’t got it anymore and that’s too bad). Well, while we’re at it...

Wait, after I showed a Norev Simca 1000 The Bell King was interested in one. So a new iHWEP started there. When I asked Philip to handle those as well, he agreed again.

So I need to thank two guys actually for these:

Luckily Philip packed ‘m all separately and documented where I got ‘m from... There was stuff in for fellow Dutchie BvdV - The Dutch Engineer as well (also from Diecast Select’s clearance sale) by the way but that BvdV will show himself some day. I hope.

Then there were some RAOKs in there as well. Not did Philip just re-use the box I sent him (with Fragile in Dutch on it hahaha!), he reused some of my packaging paper as well! The “Colin” part is obvious with the cast that came in it, I packed his Donkervoort D8 GTO in it when it went over the Atlantic the first time (Joop is from “Joop Donkervoort”, founder of the little Dutch carmaker).

And finally a EuroStyle 993 to make it even more epic... So grazie mille segnore Félipo! E il Re di Bell. E l’ingegnere Olandese for your patience as it took quite some time for you to get your stuff. But that’s it for today, I’ll share more of today’s Italian content in proper future Spaghetti Sundays!

Ciao Tutti!
