Last Friday I announced, again, how I despise shooting black cars. So I hardly get ‘m anyway. But you know what’s even harder? Shooting a black car together with a white one. And a red one. Thanks Tomica!
It was a no-brainer however, when Tomica announced the Delta HF Integrale would get the TLV treatment, I had to get ‘m all. I’m a big fan of the HF. But I don’t have to share this info again as I’ve posted about it often enough. I feel.
I also shared my incomprehension for FIAT not getting a decent Lancia on the market again, as it’s a brand with an amazing history, not just this little gem.
And the Tomica has be shown before as well so I won’t bother much text on that either. Just maybe: Get one while you can. The dullest color for it is the grey one but that one is a metallic paint with too big metal flakes but then again: The others are harder to shoot. First world problems.
The last 1:1 HF Integrale I drove was a shitty white one (to see if it was fit for a certain Doug DeMuro, it wasn’t) and one of my own 1:1s is white as well so the white’s probably still my favorite TLV HF.
Although the paint feels a big too “fat” on the white one. But it’s all nitpicking as I certainly would get ‘m all 4 again. And I can only pray Tomica to come up with an HF EVO as well. Or maybe a 037. A guy can dream, right?
Just too bad I can’t remember Michel Vaillant running into one, he did run into a Stratos that Steve Warson entered maybe I should have dug up that one instead of “Rally op een Vulkaan” which features Michel in a Ford Escort. With a motore sperimentale by Vaillante of course.
And that’s it for this somewhat late Spaghetti Sunday. I’m taking a few weeks off so don’t expect many lectures from my side next two weeks.
Grazie Mille Tomica e Ciao Tutti!
