Subari (Tokyo Tuesday)

It’s their own fault for being right next to one another in the store.

I was actually looking for a MBX project. Only because I haven’t done one yet. So out came the saw.

I broke my last coping saw blade on the first cut. I figured I’d try the cutting wheel and really sliced into that B pillar, and mirror. Not hard to fix, but a bummer none the less.

MBX seem to be extremely difficult to strip. I’ll be trying to get the blue paint out of the door jams for hours.

The heat from the cutting wheel warped the metal pretty bad. Took quite a bit of bending to get it to line up right. The weather is not cooperating. I should have been able to sand this Subaru an hour ago, and it’s still not cured. Hopefully it’ll be sanded smooth by tomorrow.

The 962 project is wrapped in tape or I’d share a pic of that madness. I’ll make sure to share it tomorrow.

Thanks for checking out my stuff.
