Big things with little cars

The family Sunday drive seems to be a thing of the past, but it’s something my wife and I love to do. It’s as simple as loading the kids in the Buick and tooling around for an hour or two, with no particular purpose or place in mind.

Today’s Buick hails directly from the era of the Sunday drive. Can you think of a better way to spend the day in a cushy and stylish new Buick, powered by an ever so smooth straight eight engine? I can’t.

I’m very pleased with the two new Racing Champions that I picked up. While the Nomad I featured a couple weeks ago sparkled and shined, today’s Buick is splendidly subtle. I love the muted grey color, and all the lovely tampos. WhileI hate the stick on portals that have become all the rage with the Pey Boys crowd, the look oh so right on a classic Buick.
