Big things with little cars
Big things with little cars

I promised to post pictures of this surprise find last week, so here you are :)

Overall I have to say I’m a little disappointed with the quality of this one - compared to the Alfa 4C Convertible I posted last week, the tampos were found to be less precise, with slight smudging and poor finish in some places. However, that doesn’t detract from how sharp a casting this is, and how it is...a McLaren!

I think the rear tampos are beautifully done. Slight misalignment, but still acceptable.

Detailed interior, right down to the precise steering wheel! (Sorry you can’t see it clearly from this picture)

The side is where I felt the tampo printing quality dipped a bit - you see visible smudging under the door louvres and around the front bumpers.

Overall, still a very welcome addition to any McLaren diecast collection...I don’t think there are that many in 1:64 beyond the Kyosho and HW examples right?
