This one couldn’t wait. I finally have this monster of a car thanks to Enginerrrrrrr. It was my number one want on the want list, but thanks to him, it’s now in my collection :D.
However, I must first complain about the lack of Koenigseggs outside of models that cost a couple hundred bucks. This Hot Wheels(which is very pricey still, mind you) and maybe a couple of 1/43s(which are also rather pricey still) are the exception, but why can’t we have more Koenigseggs outside high-end 1/18? Pagani has agreements with Hot Wheels and Motormax. Gumpert(now Apollo) has agreements with Kinsmart and Siku. W Motors seems to have an agreement with Jada since they made the Lykan, albeit as part of the F&F line. Even a relatively unknown concept car called the Genty Akylone. That company seems to have an agreement with Majorette, and said Majorette is something I have incoming from Hong Kong. Anyway, if these obscure supercar companies can make agreements with brands that don’t have models priced at $200-$300, what is stopping Koenigsegg from doing the same? Did they not like HW’s Agera R so they nixed their agreement? Are they just picky about who replicates their cars? I don’t get it....
Anyway, now for the car itself. I like the Agera R. I like Koenigseggs in general. So, I like this model. Could it have been better? Of course, but I am grateful to finally have one of these, so I’m not going to complain about the model.
Also, Dubai, when are you going to add a Koenigsegg to your police fleet?
And just cause, here’s the Agera R next to my old namesake; a British monster :D.
Yeah, so, I like this model, but due to it’s current price, unless you find someone who is willing to trade for it like I was able to, I can’t recommend it :(. Of course, what you do with your money is not my decision, but for the asking price as this, you could probably get a Kyosho or two. Regardless, I like this car, and I like this model.
Thanks for viewing!
