The results were tallied and the design was finalized. The RLC Selections car for 2018 is going to be this amazing Fairlady Z. Complete with opening hood, detailed engine, and even a detailed floorboard! This will be available to RLC members starting on Monday 06/11.
Continuing my interruption of ///May and my reintroduction back to the site, along with new phone camera and newly acquired photo editing skillz, comes an old sight: A 240Z By R32 Rennsport!
So it begins! This is the first installment of TBK Reviews, where I, your semi-trusted fellow author, will subjectively review a diecast vehicle to give you a more detailed look at what retail & hobby brands are producing these days. Most will be 1:64 scale, but I may branch out along the way. Feel free to disagree or…
Stopped in Wal-Mart on a whim this morning and finally found the Forza series. It had already been hit pretty hard, but I found what appeared to be the last chase in the bin.
If you’ve ever read my full screenname, you’ll know I’m a big Nissan guy. So when M2 announced their Auto-Japan series, obviously I go excited. I don’t normally collect M2, so this was a nice way to add some to my collection.
I posted my Z Whiz last week without knowing I would run into another cool casting at the Dollar Tree store. I found the Nissan Fairlady Z custom there, it had been eluding me for a while. Custom 240 Z by Muscle Machines. This casting has great details, a little too over the top with the modern custom details for my taste, but tastefully done.
My Secret Super finally arrived!!!! Apparently I never gave Frosted my updated address, so it went to my old place. Luckily, the Post Office caught it and got it to me at my new house! And boy am I glad they did.... Let’s open it up and see what we’ve got here.
Let me start this post off first by saying one thing: I love my wife. We’ve started packing our stuff to move in two months and have been going through all of our books. She knew how much I wanted the Porsche set, so she said that I could take a bunch of books that we weren’t going to read again or had duplicate…
Whilst looking through the pegs at a local store today, I found something I don’t find that often.
This model came in a generic Tomica box, only marked "Tomica Special Model No 18". But what a beauty on the inside:
