Hello again, and welcome to Blue day! In 2012, Acura created a concept with the promise of amazing design. The legendary NSX was returning, and for the first time in more than a decade. Hot Wheels captures the essence of that concept in a thrilling 1:64 blue model with a silver racing stripe and bunch of detailed…
Honda North America distributes models whenever we release a new product to market. All the cars you see were designed in Ohio (with exception of the Civic type-r)
Pixel sent me this $TH missing it’s wheels in a recent HWEP, so I’m trying to decided what new shoes it should get! The fronts (stolen from a Forza RE ZL1 Camaro) are nearly identically to what came on it originally. The factory ones were gray though instead of the black w/chrome lip that these are. The rears (off a…
The HAWLage continues to trickle in at a steady pace. Found these 5 excellent Hot Wheels this week. This is probably the weakest release for the Integra but it’s still neat. The other 4 cars are fantastic.
Ok, I cheated and you caught me! This 2002 NSX carries the Acura badge, but this is one of the few 1:18s that I have and also one of the first models that I tried to “photograph” so kindly excuse the less than optimum quality!
It’s been too long since I posted a HAWL! Just haven’t acquired too much lately and my photography spot had been occupied by something else. But it’s now it’s time to catch up!
Myself and Camshaft Chris on Friday with some new stuff
More fun with the jeweler’s saw!
They Came! I got these through my work to complete the set. I have a Volcanic Red NSX too, as well as several other Honda NA recent releases that we get for launches. I don’t really collect this scale but it’s cool that they make them for us. Not sure if these will be available to order but I think you get one…
So, yeah, I feel like it’s only suitable that I get a haul of some stuff on the first day of which I can post on LaLD. They’re not really any new models, but they’re new to me.
Just a normal HAWL post. The MB, AW, and HW all came from local big box stores. The Miata binge continues!
Since everyone is using the app Prisma, I thought I’d try it too. It’s a very cool app that lets me turn my photos into ‘art’. Very awesome. Here I’ve tested it on my HW Acura NSX. The results are as follows:
I went to TRU today to see if there were any JL’s or Greenlights there. Like I said in my last post, I have given up searching for Hot Wheels. But I guess I wondered in at the right time. I found a few white Integra’s and a few Odyssey’s so I had to buy them. No matter how bitter I am. Driving around different parking…
Not a lot to say here. Bought the Thunderbird and Mercedes from a friend, and the other two are of course just big box store mainline finds.
CUSTOM ‘01 ACURA INTEGRA GSR BY HOT WHEELS
The first custom is almost done, I was just mocking up the wheels and this is how it looks. I’m not sure of the paint, the other side came out a little thick. Will probably do it again. next up will be to paint in the headlight and taillights, and some other details.
So as you guys may kknow, today is laser surgery day...
After having the NSX with me for a little bit, I decided it was time to do some minor customizing.(full discretion: I am not a wizard at customizing, also some of these are iPotato quality.)
The clamshell VW bus that Blue2010SRT DLM’ed for us to see shows a very nice interior. A detailed and chromed engine, a matching roll bar behind the seats, detailed seats, limited legroom, but a nice steering wheel. We don’t always pay attention to these interior details, so they are easy to overlook. BUt there have…
Forgeryfade’s NSX post where he swapped the windshield for a clear example inspired me, especially after someone mentioned building an NSX targa. So I got to work this morning and it’s by no means perfect, but it is a slight approximation of a Targa. I couldn’t get the red to match exactly, but it doesn’t look too bad!
