The garage is bearable again. Not many customs get made when my work space is 100°.
Just a couple of giant American coupes on this Memorial day. On the left is a 1977 Lincoln Continental by Neo Scale Models and on the right is a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado by Auto World.
If you’ve watched The Godfather, you’ll understand the title of this post. If not, watch the movie. Seriously. Watch it.
Today’s selection comes by way of a model I haven’t shared yet. I recently acquired this Maisto 1/18 2000 Cadillac DeVille DTS in Galaxy Silver Metallic from Frosted the Boxy Car Guy on Oppo, so special thanks to him (and BlueMazda2 because without him I would have never known).
Long time no see, LaLD! Well, that’s not really true. I’ve been checking the site regularly but haven’t posted in a while. But never fear, I’m still around! Anyway, I’ve seen a lot of posts with the new Greenlight buildings lately. I also found a few of these and decided to pick up the STP garage. Not a huge fan of…
I’ve been meaning to put these two together ever since I got Matchbox’s E430 from a recent eBay purchase! The Audi may be a sports-oriented performance longroof and the Mercedes a comfort-oriented pragmatic longroof, but together they make about the perfect dream garage!
Been looking to expand my fleet of Hot Wheels 100% casting, this Eldorado Biarritz convertible is one on my top list to acquire. Even in 1:64 scale, it retains its land yacht characteristics, oozing with class and luxury. Couldn’t be more fitting to appear on ‘Murica Monday.
(Edit: I’m sleepy and posted this to Oppo instead of LaLD. Excuse the oversight and enjoy a few photos of blue estates.)
So there’s an acheivement in Horizon 3 that requires you 3 star a drift zone with a vehicle weighing over 2500kg (~5500lbs). I put together this Escalade for that very purpose and succeeded! It’s got super close gearing and won’t hit 140mph- due to gearing, it has plenty of power- but it drifts as easily as a 2 1/2…
I’m kicking myself for not having picked up this casting before last week. This is one cool little ambulance, very nice interior details, the wheels are perfect for it and the exterior details are fantastic, a very nice model from Matchbox.
Lately I’ve been having a lot of issues with random episodes of vertigo, starting with the first (and worst) one happening while giving a presentation at work. That resulted in me being removed from the office via stretcher and transported by EMS to the local ER. They continue at random, but none have been nearly as…
My MBX hawling has been really slim lately. One of my regular Targets has drastically shrunk the diecast section so there are no MBX singles, just 5-packs. The other one has had year-old stock, but recently they put out maybe a case worth of new stuff. I managed to snag this ambulance and the ‘71 Skyline (if anyone…
My second round of eBay purchases came in the mail over the past two weeks, though I only got around to writing all of them up and photographing them now.
I can’t help but think of the last of the huge V8/rwd fullsize sedans when I hear the word ‘malaise’.
So i foundthis at walmart tonight when i bought Star wars the force awakens at midnight release lol.. .now heres the debate....do i keep...since i dont have one or sell....
CUSTOM CADILLAC FLEETWOOD BY HOTWHEELS
Man, things just get busy and suddenly time to write posts for LaLD just evaporates! Anyway, quick post of my latest hawl material sans one car that I’ll post a little later today. First, an awesome RAOK (Random Act Of Kindness) from a buddy of mine:
‘35 CLASSIC CADDY BY HOTWHEELS
‘57 CADILLAC ELDORADO BROUGHAM BY HOTWHEELS
(Street) Racing is one of the things that I enjoy most about my virtual life. I have played countless games and have driven a very eclectic range of cars in different cities and tracks. One of these games was the amazing “Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition” from Rockstar.
