Honda Civic Type R FK8 1:64 by MINI GT - TSM Model Scale Miniatures in ‘Aegean Blue’.
Since I’m prepping for some more involved customs (which I will document here, naturally) I decided to start messing around with some cheap mainlines to get my feet wet. Perhaps you saw my CSL?
I don’t know about you guys, but I remember as clear as day the first car I ever rode in. It was somewhere mid-1980s, in Amsterdam, smelled like dropjes (black licorice for you non-Dutch people), and had the most fascinating rear vent windows a 5-year old had ever seen.
Just two cars in this HAWL entry, but man are they two good ones! First, the Tomica Limited Vintage Honda Civic Type R (EK9). This one was a surprise as I was not expecting it until April. It’s top-notch even by TLV standards. The Championship White is perfect and the red bucket seats really stand out like they…
Today I received my first ever Tarmac Works model in the mail, the 2016 Honda Civic Type R. It’s a beauty and I will definitely be after more from Tarmac Works in the future. However, this addition present a surprisingly uncommon scenario to me- the Tarmac Works has a nearly identical specification to another 1/64…
Just a couple of cars from the eBay seller Surplus Goodies. This is my first Tarmac Works! It’s absolutely beautiful and while cages aren’t cool, I left it in for this picture just because it’s so nice. I don’t often comment on a model’s presentation in package, but this one is noteworthy. Don’t worry, you’ll see…
The HAWLage continues to trickle in at a steady pace. Found these 5 excellent Hot Wheels this week. This is probably the weakest release for the Integra but it’s still neat. The other 4 cars are fantastic.
I had gotten some 787Bs out of storage to shoot with my new Tomica Limited Vintage 787B earlier this week. I happened to have a slew of New Superfast in the same box, so I figured I’d give them some attention as well!
This one is a commission build but i think it’s been my best so far. Carry on reading :)
When Honda first released the CR-X in 1984 to the United States, it was a revelation. Here was essentially a Civic hatchback with only the essentials: an engine, a stick shift, and two seats. It was the Golf GTi for Americans, the first time that staid and reliable Honda produced something solely for fun. Yet, just…
In this series I will showcase DLM cars ranging within the 1/64 and smaller. So we shift gears to a Tomica mainline for the moment with my 28th model, the Honda Civic Type R by Tomica
Here’s my latest purchase: the Tomica Honda Civic Type R in white. I had to get this white version first. I might get the black one, but not so soon.
I was looking for a time this Civic and found a CR-X. Good findings. Also freed some BMW. Love this 2002. Enjoy
Sharing this Custom Honda Civic Si. With a yellow color and custom decals and wheels.
This is a very “Fast & Furious” looking Honda Civic coupe. I think at some point I painted the lower openings on the back bumper black, the rest of the car is stock.
My Secret Super finally arrived!!!! Apparently I never gave Frosted my updated address, so it went to my old place. Luckily, the Post Office caught it and got it to me at my new house! And boy am I glad they did.... Let’s open it up and see what we’ve got here.
I’m not the biggest fan of Hondas, but I had to have this to go with a more modern MBX Honda Civic I have (I will be posting a then and now series eventually). I had a model in a different color (I think it was red), but I gave it to my brother. This is not the greatest color/tampo combination in my opinion
This is a good casting by MBX, 2008 Honda Civic Type R (a model that never came to the US), the tampos are awesome and I love this shade of red.
Its humid, its rainy, tornado like, shnitty weather...
LaLD users brought out the inner Hot Wheels in me again :D and I got two of my favorite models I like so far. 1990 Honda Civic and a BMW M3!
