Hi fellow LaLDers, I’ve been out for a while due to vacation and being busy with life after that. Of course that does not stop me from taking every opportunity to check out some nice models. No luck in finding the zamac Chevy pickup shop truck nor any of the new Hot Wheels 50th in Target or Walmart butI found some…
Yeah right, the most famous Datsun in the States if the motoring sites are to be believed (I come from the other corner of the world lol).
I’ve never gotten the purple to go on this thin.
It’s been a busy day, and I almost forgot to post a pic. So here’s my last minute improv!
Just an M2 Machines lowered 510 in the shop today....
Just a few of my favorite Hot Wheels 510s on this May 10th!
At least if you ask Hot Wheels. No matter what version, and no matter how hard they are to get, people come flocking. RLC, main line, $uper TH, Boulevard, JH1, JH2, convention cars... You name it.
Here’s my 510 offering:
It’s been a long time since I posted my sneak peak and now the wait is over and in time for 510 day.
Here is my entry. When Matchbox came out with their version of the Datsun 510 (known as the poor man’s BMW as the specs were patterned after one of the BMW models) rally car, I was excited but at the same time disappointed as the original looks so incomplete. However it gave me the opportunity to have fun putting in…
I know it seems like Episode 9 just came out today, because it did, but we are banking some episodes for some planned travel. We will be talking all things JDM tomorrow evening with Rob (aka JediMario) after his great trip to Japan. Be sure and ask questions for him. Don’t make me put Lloyd on the spot again.
Or more precisely Red Line Club car has arrived.
The cool rally Datsun 510 by Matchbox. I love the tampos and the detailing on the roof rack items. The mud splatter on the hood is an awesome touch, it would be much cooler with some more splatter on the sides.
Previously I indicated that I found the Matchbox 70 Datsun 510 Rally with the disc wheels in Dollar Tree on the bottom of the shelf and nearly left it there thinking it’s another 6 spokes wheel. On my 126th post is the 510 disc wheel makeover.
Looks familiar? That’s because there are some similarities regarding this livery from other manufacturer but this one was based on a movie that was based on an actual Japanese Rally car. On my 125th post is the long awaited 2nd item that came with the package from Japan.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I received this package from Japan yesterday so technically it is a Pre-Thanksgiving Mail Call. I will try to show them in detail with reviews soon.
