I bought two new MiJo Exclusive castings, one from Greenlight and one from Johnny Lightning. I haven’t had a chance to take real photos yet as they just arrived yesterday, but I will eventually. So here are some awful phone pics. I couldn’t resist sharing them!
So, I did a thing... 99.9% done... it rolls... maybe ill try to clean the rims up a bit. I’m considering ONE more thing: a thin racing stripe from the badge down the middle back to almost the end of the roof, in the same orange... What do you guys think? How do you like it?
So, I made my own “Then & Now” and turned them into art cars. I need the practice and I had the sort of Jeff Koons/ Benetton idea, so... why not? I tried to make it a real ACE (All Custom Everything), and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING;)
We’ve moved! Now the great services you’ve come to expect from VDH Customs have moved to a bigger and better location. More and better equipment, a bigger space with more room for our craftspeople to move around, and more space for cars! A new customer service center will also soon be opened. Come to the new and…
I guess you can call this my Christmas haul, minus a couple pieces that aren’t Kyosho and a few that are on their way. I really do enjoy this brand!
Where the customer is almost right:) I had a lot of fun getting this started. I’m still hoping to add weathering, dyno and several other things, but, I hope you guys like it!
Snow White... He’s been from Miami to Los Angeles and back, and now I’ve finally put the finishing touches on him (exhaust:D) I’ve shared a lot of pics with this 934.5, I hope I haven’t bored anyone. I’ve finished this GT3 RS, as well. It may be time for a new piece of traveling diecast for my upcoming voyage across…
Some of you may have seen this little set before, or perhaps you own it yourself. I came across it at BMW’s Zentrum here in South Carolina. My Dad and I went to the BMW Car Club of America Foundation’s exhibit, Heroes of Bavaria. It was a fantastic show! I don’t think I’ve shared most of my photos from there . . .
Just a couple of test shots with my new Greenlight Gulf Vintage Gas Station diorama!
Here’s my collection of white Porsches! I have a number of others in different colors, but I love seeing all these white ones together.
I’ve been wanting to do this for quite a bit and FINALLY, I’ve gotten around to it! Of course, I couldn’t stop at just a swap. I had to do the rear axel, tail lights and interior. I hope you enjoy!
And he’s very pleased with them. Still a WIP, and I’m still a noob at this (second time ever putting details on diecast) but besides the obvious, they included roll cage, interior, fresh idlers, and rolled down windows:D I hope you enjoy! In the meantime, I’m gonna have to keep practicing, to steady my hand.
You know those posts, where there are too many pics? Yea, me neither hahaha This safari has been long overdue! We found an ancient temple!
...no? Good morning, all! Now, enjoy this Teutonic thing, here:) This and the Defender 110 are my top two favorite castings from MBX.
I just got these in and they’re great! I’ll spare you the detailed pics, since others have already done that (I’m pretty sure). pow pow :D
Thanks philiphilip for explaining HWEP and for this BEAUTY! It turns out I only need the black flake painted one and the Speed Machines variations, and I’ll be caught up. I love this casting!
(Had to repost bc it showed up as a post from yesterday)
I cracked open this Mecum line model from Greenlight and boy, am I happy I did! The second one I was going to crack open put me in quite the conundrum, however:/ Maybe you can help me with that one.
Bird, bird, bird... bird is the worrrrd:) One of my FAVORITE Johnny Lightning Castings ❤️
I’ve been really busy lately, and I have had to reassess my approach of the garage because of some difficulties; but I now have three half finished walls! And I now have the doorway and three garage door openings too! Hooray!
