So first let me say my vacation wasn’t actually just for diecast, as awesome as that would be. The actually purpose was to go visit my in-laws in Florida. However, I was fortunate enough to get to spend a good amount of time doing some diecast hunting, and I had a great HAWL from this vacation. Especially thanks to a…
I have some thing you might be interested.
Found at Target after work. Love this movie. Kids. Get your parent’s permission before you watch it. Seriously. :D
I can’t help but think of the last of the huge V8/rwd fullsize sedans when I hear the word ‘malaise’.
PSA #1: the 1/43 GL Limos are hitting Meijer and are already on sale.
I got an incredible HWEP from androo and A & J Toys shipped those Japan Historics!
C’mon Greenlight. Don’t you have even a tiny bit of QC, lol?
Man, I had quite a good and unexpected day today. Technically it started last night, but that’s besides the point. First thing I picked up was a new GL H&T F-150 and flatbed trailer. This is the second H&T I have, and it came in much better condition than the first (NYPD Ram).
Today, I got another package in the mail, this one from HobbyLinkJapan. Way back in August I ordered a set of the Greenlight Spy Shots cars, but cancelled the order in September (for those not familiar with HLJ, they have an up-to 60 holding period if you so choose). A couple months later, I got spammed with emails…
These three vans cost a total of $7. Not bad for 2 GL and an M2.
Great job GreenLight!
I took apart my “diorama” because I thought it didn’t look great, so I re-purposed the roads (HW track from the 90’s and 00’s) to look like a highway in my lightbox. I used to settings: c. 1970 and c. 2016.
Went to my local Meijer on New Year’s Eve and got this beauty. I’ve been looking forward to it for 6 months, when they first announced it. Mine has no flaws, so I’m happy. The paint is awesome as well. Like ZTP I was shocked at the size. It can’t fit on my previous diorama roads, so that’s a bit of shame.
Video review on one of Greenlight’s new 1:64 Hobby exclusives and unfortunately a bit of a rant regarding their quality control. On a positive note this car still looks awesome!
Besides the lack of detail on the front grill and the obvious tire flub, this is still a pretty cool ride!
Another quick hit and run post before work. Another home run by GreenLight, check it out!!!!!
NEWS! AND LOTS OF IT! First up is the new All-Terrain Series:
Here is my video review of Dom’s 70 Chevelle SS from the Fast & Furious movies.
How have we not seen all this GL news??? Everybody be slackin’ (just kidding).
According to T-Hunted, GL is going to release this Aston Martin Vantage GT4-100 in 1/43 scale. Here’s what they said: We’re a little late with some news that Greenlight showed last month, and now it’s time to show some of the cars that will appear soon in US stores. And the first on our list is a fantastic Aston…
