As collectors, coming across a chase car in the wild remains the ultimate HAWL. Ask any collector methodically combing through the pegs at Target, or elbows deep in a dump bin at Wal-Mart what they are searching for and - inevitably - the chase car will come up. There are entire websites devoted to cataloging the most…
In my search for the new M2 Auto-Japan series, I got lucky with getting to crack three fresh cases (plus two more of the new VW series) over the last two days. But that’s where my luck would end, with no chase appearing in any of them.
So what do you do when you can’t sleep and M2 is hitting? Go hunt of course! Picked up my 2nd VW chase of the series.
I scored the VW bus in a cool vintage deco today and the bug a few weeks back. Both are 1 of 750 and could be yours. Looking for M2 JDM or Bel Airs.
Event car for the 2018 Carlisle Ford Nationals
Here is the new Auto-Japan Hako in a nice simple race livery.
While out hunting at a local Wal-Mart I stumbled upon a new M2 Datsun in a cool Goodyear livery. I have a few of M2's other Japanese releases, but this is the first one I’ve really opened and enjoyed. Pictured with an M2 lift, Greenlight Mechanics Corner, and Accessory Pack accessories.
I just love the color on these two!
Here are the Japanese cars from M2 that I’ve added to my collection. I know many of you have these along with most of the other cars in the first and second sets. These are the ones I really liked though. Enjoy my photos!
Fresh from the case! Great looking chase if you collect firebirds. Up for HWEP.
This went live at 1pm cst. Limited to 1000 at 36.00 per. Comes in a nice box with an M2 pin and patch
The much anticipated M2 Japan 1:24 set has landed. I’ve been awaiting this hunt for many months. When M2 dropped a few teaser pics I knew hunting was to be shifted into high gear. Yesterday afternoon I noticed Brickseek had updated numbers so I got geared up for the hunt. The diecast gods didn’t smile upon me last…
I can finally mark a M2 raw off my list of wants.
Why, it’s my third M2 chase!
Scored my first Super Chase! I got so excited that I forgot to snap a picture of it sitting right up front.
As an expert level user of various inventory reporting web pages its always nice to stumble upon a surprise chase. Even more satisfying is that some poor soul missed it. At 1 of 500 this maybe my lowest numbered M2.
Long time no see, LaLD! Well, that’s not really true. I’ve been checking the site regularly but haven’t posted in a while. But never fear, I’m still around! Anyway, I’ve seen a lot of posts with the new Greenlight buildings lately. I also found a few of these and decided to pick up the STP garage. Not a huge fan of…
I saw a post describing today as, “Land of the rising Sun-day,” so I decided that today would be as good a day as any to make a short review of the latest line from M2 Machines: Auto-Japan, a Walmart exclusive that focuses on some classic Japanese steel.
Here’s my first shoot of the new GT40's on my diorama. I mainly focused on the race winner this time. A new backdrop would be nice, so I’m toying with some ideas. Preferably something a little less labor-intensive and also easier to store than this 4' diorama!
